Custom Engineering offers a prepaid residential maintenance agreement for standard furnace, air conditioner, and heat pump systems. Program members receive scheduled preventative maintenance visits each year, priority scheduling for service calls, discounted diagnostic and repair rates, and discounted pricing on repairs and replacement parts. Each visit includes a full inspection, cleaning, safety check, and performance evaluation, with detailed reporting on equipment condition and any upcoming needs.

Ductless & Mini-Split Maintenance Pricing

Ductless systems are priced separately from traditional equipment. A single-zone system (one indoor head, one outdoor unit) is $250 per maintenance visit. Each additional indoor head or outdoor unit adds $50 per visit. Most ductless systems used for both heating and cooling can benefit from two maintenance visits per year: one before the cooling season and one before the heating season. Lightly used or single-season systems may be maintained annually; your technician can advise on the right schedule for your setup.

Priority Scheduling
When you call to book a service visit, program members get scheduled ahead of non-members. During peak heating and cooling seasons, that can mean the difference between a same-week appointment and a longer wait.

Discounted Rates on Service and Parts
Diagnostic and repair rates are discounted for program members, and those savings extend to replacement parts as well. If a service call uncovers a part that needs replacing, the member discount applies.

Detailed Condition Reporting
After each visit, you receive a clear report on your system’s current condition and any recommendations for upcoming service. That documentation can support warranty compliance and helps you plan ahead rather than react to failures.

Routine maintenance can also reduce the risk of sudden breakdowns during the coldest and hottest stretches of the year, when Bay City’s weather makes system downtime most disruptive.
